Regularly hosting major concerts of all kinds, the Muziekcentrum Frits Philips actually boasts no less than two separate concert halls. The Eindhoven Airport Hall is the biggest of the two concert halls and can seat around 1,250 people, while the considerably smaller and more intimate Rabobank Hall can accommodate audiences of just under 400. Ranging from classical orchestras to leading rock and pop groups, there is usually something for everyone at the Muziekcentrum Frits Philips, watched each year by well over 150,000 people. The acoustics here are reputed to be one the best that Europe has to offer.

Originally constructed in 1966 to be the home of the city's Museum of Science and Technology, today the Evoluon remains an iconic landmark and is currently used as a world-class conference and meeting centre. Even though the Evoluon is actually now more than 40 years old, its appearance still seems rather futuristic, resembling a flying saucer. The Evoluon is constructed from concrete and measures almost 80 metres / 260 feet in diameter.

Particularly popular with families, the Ice Sports Centre has no less than three individual ice skating rinks, including one rink used for regular ice hockey matches, a training rink, and a large rink often used by the more experienced of skaters. Friday nights are often busy, since the Eindhoven Ice Sports Centre features an evening disco, while on Sunday mornings, children appear in large numbers for the family skating sessions.
